by Teresa Denton

I walk along the path of life;

I see the suffering & strife.

HIV has invaded my land,

How can I give a helping hand?

First try to break the shame,

Call HIV & AIDS by name.

Encourage all to have a test,

Stigma must now be put to rest.

The negative to stay virus free,

Their future will begin with me.

The positive to hold their heads high,

First crawl, then walk & finally fly!

I walk along the path of life;

I see the suffering & strife.

HIV has invaded my land,

I can & will give a helping hand!
