I believe the longest pregnancy a human has to endure is that parent who decides to adopt or foster a child. Often the adoption process is long and fraught with stumbling blocks and disappointments. For the brave the end of the line is indescribably rewarding, fulfilling and worth all the problems overcome.
Many an adoptive parent experiences uncertainty of whether they are doing the right thing or whether they are worthy of being parents.
NEVER doubt your worthiness!
When that seed of adoption was planted, you became worthy. Sometimes even more worthy than those who become biological parents accidentally. The more love you are prepared to give, the more love you will have to give.
That little infant did not ask to be born and deserves all that love, support, protection and stability you are planning to bestow. All health professionals, welfare workers will assist you to ease into this path of parenting. Feel free to ask for assistance.
Welcome that little stranger into your heart & life.
Your life and you will change forever.
KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE A WONDERFUL PARENT WITH OVERFLOWING LOVE AND CARING!
JUST WHAT OUR LITTLE ONE NEEDS.
